The Wheelwrights Arms is situated in the peaceful village of Monkton Combe, surrounded by picturesque hills and valleys. The property is recommended by the Good Pub Guide and Michelin Guide 2018.
The carefully restored and enhanced annex houses 7 en suite rooms, each with free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities.
Menus are changed regularly and include light lunches and a la carte selections. Local ingredients are used where possible. You can relax with a drink by the open fire or in the garden.
The historic site of Bath city centre is just a 5-minute drive away. Tickets can be arranged for all Bath rugby home games from September to May. For narrow boating, we are one mile from the Kennet and Avon Canal and can suggest suitable companies to use. You can walk or cycle along the canal. There is a cycle route next to the pub and bikes can be hired nearby.
