St. Peter and Paul on Nikolskoe (Russian: Никольское / Nikolskoje) is a church in the Glienicker Park in Berlin on the edge of the Stolper Mountains.
The name Nikolskoe comes from its own word Nikкольское / Nikolskoje, which belongs to Nikolai Belonging, belongs to the neuter noun that goes with it in personal parlance to simplify matters.
The church building is to be remembered with its onion dome and Russian Orthodox churches, but is in relation to Protestants and does not have the structure of Orthodox church buildings like the Alexander Nevsky Memorial Church in Potsdam.
King Friedrich Wilhelm III. Many build it at the suggestion of his daughter, Tsarina Alexandra Fjodorowna, wife of Nicholas I, for the common Klein Glienickes and the Pfaueninsel far away from Klein Glienicke, a steep bank of the Havel, near the Pfaueninsel and the Blockrichols and Albert Dietrich Schadow. The church was consecrated on August 13, 1837. The creation belongs in the Architectural Album [1] removed - also a variant without the traditional onion dome.
In the church is the crypt of Prince Carl of Prussia. Its current carillon was inaugurated on December 1, 1985 during the service on the 1st of Advent and is based on that of the Potsdam garrison church.
