Located on the foothills of the Drakensberg Mountains, Inkosana Backpackers Lodge offers accommodation in the Champagne Valley. With panoramic views of the rolling hills and mountains, this lodge is surrounded by 50 acres of grassland.
Inkosana offers a variety of accommodation, including family rooms and dormitories. Some rooms have a private bathroom while others have access to shared ablution facilities. The rooms are heated in winter and serviced daily. Linen and towels are provided for your comfort.
Homely breakfasts and dinners are available at a surcharge and served on the veranda with views of the mountains. Inkosana also offers a shared self-catering kitchen and barbecue facilities. Tea-and-coffee-making facilities are provided, and staff are on hand to periodically wash the dishes.
The lodge boasts a freshwater swimming reservoir and the area is popular for hiking and nature walks.
The Monks Cowl entrance to the Maloti Drakensberg Park World Heritage Site is 8 km away, while the Drakensberg Boys Choir School is within a 5-minute drive.
