Glampelo is a glamorous camping concept, with luxurious tents and scenic natural views. Located in Penela, the property has an outdoor swimming pool.
The inside of the ample tents features a private bathroom, free WiFi, seating area and a wardrobe. The luxury tents are decorated in warm colours and include handmade wooden furniture.
Breakfast is served each morning in the terrace, but guests can request the staff to provide room breakfast. Romantic room dinners are also available. A communal kitchen is also available, where guests are welcome to prepare their own meals. The community terrace features a large snack bar, where guests can enjoy light meals and refreshing drinks
The property includes a communal outdoor swimming pool and a children’s playground. Glampelo has a professional photographer on site, for those wishing to take a different kind of holiday photo. Relaxing and invigorating Japanese facial massages are also available, at an extra fee. The community terrace features board games and a large collection of DVD's for rent, which guests can watch in the privacy of their tents, thanks to a portable DVD player.
Set in a vast green area, there is a varied animal and plant life to behold while hiking or cycling. The Pedra Ferida waterfalls are a 24-minute drive. The typical xist village of Ferraria de S. João is a 35-minute drive from the Glampelo.
It is a 2-hour drive from the Lisbon International Airport, and a shuttle service is available, at a surcharge.
