In a quiet tree-lined road, just a short walk from the town centre, the seafront and the Riviera Centre, Exton House has been awarded a 4-star guest accommodation rating.

Your hosts, John and Julie, pride themselves on their high standards of cleanliness, attention to detail and hospitality. Children aged 2 years and older are welcome at Exton House.

This small, friendly, family-run guest house is located in a quieter area of Torquay, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach and all that the town has to offer.

There are 5 stylish and well-equipped double and family en-suite rooms, all of which are tastefully decorated and furnished. Each room has a TV with Freeview digital channels and tea/coffee making facilities.

Free high-speed WiFi is available throughout and there is a public computer for guests’ use.

Free parking is available on site and Exton House offers a courtesy pick-up service for those travelling by public transport. Along with Paignton and Babbacombe, Torquay is one of the 3 towns that form the English Riviera. There is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area, including plenty of activities for all ages, from relaxing on the beach, to water sports, and from fishing to a night at the theatre. There are also many local attractions and sights to see.

With a wonderful climate that belongs somewhere much further south, Torbay has 22 miles (35 km) of coastline, cliffs and beaches, featuring some of the best walks in England. The varied and spectacular coastline is part of the South West Coast Path, which runs for 630 miles (1015 km), from South Haven to Minehead.

The English Riviera is not only a place to relax and soak up the atmosphere, but also somewhere to take part in many exciting activities such as jet skiing, diving, fishing and all sorts of sporting activities. The nightlife is superb, whether you are looking for a romantic evening meal or a night out on the town. Torbay has something to suit all tastes and ages. With many beaches to choose from, and 2,000 acres of award-winning public parks and gardens to explore, the English Riviera really is one of the most beautiful holiday destinations around. Exton House has received a 4-star guest accommodation rating from the English Tourist Board.

There is a residents’ bar. You could also relax in the lounge with a book, or surf the web and check your emails on the guest computer at no extra cost.

The car park is situated at the back of the guest house.

Those using public transport should contact Exton House in advance, as there is a courtesy pick-up service available wherever possible from Torquay railway or coach station. Exton House is 100% non-smoking. Guests who wish to smoke are asked if they would do so outside.

Children are very welcome. Cots, highchairs and baby baths are available free of charge.

The relaxed atmosphere makes Exton House a great choice for families and couples alike. Unfortunately, the guest house does not accept bookings for single-sex groups or parties.

Rooms are serviced daily, unless the room has not been vacated by 11:00.
