Guests can engage is activities such as walks and hiking through the Kerry Way Route. The Waterville area also boasts a number of historical locations such as Staigue Fort, Cill Rialaig and Derrynane House and National Park - birthplace of 'The Liberator', Daniel O'Connell. Whilst many tourists visit the town each year, it has managed to remain largely uncommercialised and traditional, an ideal location in which to experience everything this region has to offer.
