The Panorama Hotel Talhof enjoys a quiet location at the edge of Wängle, 4 km from Reutte's centre, and offers fantastic panoramic views across the Reutte basin with its many small villages.
The Talhof is located in open landscape, surrounded by green meadows. From here you can start hiking- and nordic walking tours easily, and you are on the best place to visit Neuschwanstein castle (30 min by car), Oberammergau and much more.
Opposite the hotel, the famous Ehrenberg Castles are illuminated every night. The base station of the Reutte cable car is only 5 minutes away on foot and the access to the cross country run is close to the hotel. This is a hiker's heaven. The paths to the area of the Reuttener Hahnenkamm start at the hotel and the mountain path (Höhenweg) passes the hotel. Nature lovers find a lot to explore and to take pictures of:
- The lady's slipper (orchid) meadows in the Martinau (May - June).
- The riparian forest at Pflach is a very special birds paradise with observation tower.
- The Tuoser waterfall rises every year on the 23rd of April and runs dry on Martinmas (11th November).
- All year round there are interesting presentations and exkurions in the national park Tiroler Lech.
In winter the base station of the Reutte cable car is only 5 minutes away on foot and the access to the cross country run is close to the hotel. The large parking area right next to the hotel is available to guests at any time. All floors are accessible by a lift.
