In the heart of Bampton, the family-run Weston House is on the Devon and Somerset border. This beautiful Victorian house features free Wi-Fi throughout. The town is on the outskirts of Exmoor National Park. Within a 2-minute walk, there are several pubs and restaurants serving evening meals.
Featuring original artwork, the spacious rooms retain the Weston House’s character. Each includes a flat-screen TV with a DVD player and tea and coffee making facilities, with homemade biscuits and hot chocolate. The en suite or private shower rooms have complimentary Cole and Lewis toiletries.
In the mornings, breakfast is served in the elegant dining room. Guests can choose between full English breakfast, smoked salmon, and vegetarian alternatives. Dishes are prepared using locally sourced produce, along with homemade bread, yoghurt, and marmalade.
Bampton is home to traditional shops and restaurants, along with a historic 13th century church. Surrounded by the Blackdown Hills, the town sits on the River Bathern, just 1 mile from the Exe Valley. The area is ideal for walking and cycling. Secure bike storage is available at the Weston House.
